The water is transparent but the color reflected from the sky makes them blue. In this painting, I wanted to show that in Jerusalem, the spiritual worlds of Jerusalem are reflected in Jerusalem's Below directed against Jerusalem's Above.
Colors: Blue, turquoise, white, grey, black pearl, silver, and gold. Gold leaf is added very gently in between the stones and on some of the foliage.
